HERMITAGE – The Keystone 9-11 All-Stars continue their quest for a title in the Pennsylvania 9-11 Little League tournament tonight at 7 p.m. when they will face, District 14 and Section 7 champion, South Middleton in the winner’s bracket final.
South Middleton hails from the Boiling Springs area and made it to this round with edging Section 8 champ, Aston-Middleton 8-7 in the their tournament opener then squeaking past Section 8 champion, Abington 2-1 in seven innings.
Keystone rolled to a 11-1 win over Section 4 champion, State College in the first round, 11-1 than outlasted Section 2 champ, Norwin, 4-3 to advance to tonight’s game.
The winner of tonight’s game earns a berth in the final round set for Friday, July 26 at 7 p.m. while the loser will have to battle back in the elimination bracket tomorrow, July 24 at 7 p.m. against the the winner of Abington vs Aston-Middletown set for 4 p.m. today.
The record-online will offer live audio stream of the game with John Lipez and Tom Elling offering up the call to bring you all the action. The stream will go live approximately 15 minutes before the first pitch.
