MOUNT UNION – Today is the opportunity for the Keystone 9-11 All-Stars to redeem their opening round 13-8 loss to North Allegheny back on July 29.
In that game, Keystone spotted NA an early lead but just couldn’t get enough traction to cover the deficit.
Since that early loss, Keystone has put in a very balanced and workmanlike performances battling their way back through the lower bracket earning wins over Upper Providence, 12-11; Valley West, 11-9 and Lionville 14-5.
North Allegheny secured wins over Keystone and Abington American, 11-8 then fell to Red Land 8-3 yesterday.
The winner of today’s 6 p.m. game will meet the winner’s bracket champ, Red Land, on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 6 p.m. in the championship final round.
