NEWBERRY – It’s time for the District 12 Little League Baseball tournament and once again the Keystone Major All-Stars are excited to get started. The 11-12 year olds are eager to test their skills and will be traveling to face rival Newberry in their first round action. The first pitch is slated for 6 p.m.
The winner of tonight’s game will advance to the next round which will be played at Blair Kunes Memorial Park in Beech Creek against South Williamsport tomorrow night. Keystone would love nothing more than be the opponent for that contest.
The Keystoners had a great run last season as they made it all the way to Bristol, CT and came up short in the Mid-Atlantic regional championship just missing a ticket to the Big Dance.
The record-online will offer live audio stream of the game and will also be broadcast on WBPZ AM 1230 with John Lipez and Tom Elling offering up the call to bring you all the action. The stream will go live approximately 10 minutes before the first pitch.
