CRESSON – Central Mountain (16-8) will travel to Mount Aloysius College Saturday to take on Hollidaysburg at 8 p.m. for the District 6 5A boys’ basketball championship.
Hollidaysburg (16-6) won both regular season clashes with the Wildcats, the scores 61-54 at Hollidaysburg on Dec. 20 and by a 56-49 margin at the CM gym on Jan. 27. Saturday’s winner advances into the PIAA state tournament.
There will be a live audio broadcast on WBPZ AM 1230 with James Gallagher offering up the call to bring you all the action. The stream will go live approximately 15 minutes before tipoff. The stream will NOT be available here at therecord-online.com due to the District 6 wrestling coverage that will be ongoing.
This game is to follow the 5A girls’ championship game. Any delays or overtime could delay the start of the boys’ game.
