BEECH CREEK – The District 12 Major Baseball tournament tightens up considerably tonight as Keystone will face Williamsport Area in the winner bracket final at Blain Kunes Memorial Park with the first pitch slated for 6 p.m.
The winner of tonight’s game advances to the championship game Friday, July 8 night at Volunteer Stadium. The loser will have to battle back in the consolation bracket by facing the winner of tonight’s game between Loyalsock and Montoursville. The consolation final is set for tomorrow night, Wednesday, July 6 at Loyalsock.
Williamsport Area breezed through their first three games defeating East Lycoming 13-5, Woolrich 10-0 and South 19-3. Keystone had two dominant wins and one solid challenger with wins over: Loyalsock 13-3, Montoursville 5-4 and Muncy 13-3.
The record-online will offer live audio stream of the game and will also be broadcast on WBPZ AM 1230 with John Lipez and Tom Elling offering up the call to bring you all the action. The stream will go live approximately 10 minutes before the first pitch.
