MONTGOMERY – Due to the heavy precipitation that moved through the region yesterday, Bucktail softball will finally get to take their first step in the District 4 Class A playoffs against the Lady Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m.
Montgomery (11-6) has the edge in head-to-head meetings over the Lady Bucks (8-9) with Montgomery defeated Bucktail twice during the regular season in two close contests, 3-1 and 7-6. This will be Bucktail’s second straight season in the postseason after previously having never qualified.
The record-online will offer live audio stream of the game with John Lipez offering up the call to bring you all the action. The stream will go live approximately 15 minutes before the first pitch.
Keep in mind we are also streaming the Central Mountain vs DuBois softball game at 2:30 p.m. today. Should that game be delayed or extended, it could delay our coverage of the Bucktail vs Montgomery game. If there is a delay or conflict, we will update scores for the later game until the first game is completed.
