‘Cats Still on the Hunt for a Top Hat Title (Live Audio Stream)

WILLIAMSPORT – Today is where the rubber meets the road in the Tom Best-Top Hat Tournament. Eighteen teams are still in the hint for a title and the Wildcats have positioned themselves for a shot at defending their team title with all 14 wrestlers still in contention.

Central Mountain earned 105.5 team points on Friday has 9 wrestlers in the championship semi-finals and 5 still in action in the consolation rounds.

Line Mountain is in a solid second place after the first day with 77.5 with 5 in the championship bracket and 8 in the wrestle backs. Muncy is right behind Line Mountain with 75 points with 6 in the winner’s bracket and 7 in the lower bracket. Mifflinburg and Fort LeBeouf are right behind with 62.5 and 62 points respectively. Mifflinburg has 5 in the semis and 3 in the consolations while Fort LeBeouf has 5 still alive fore a title and 7 competing in the conseys.

The semi-final round and consolations will start promptly at 10 a.m. and the action will continue through the day. The Parade of Champions ceremony is set for 4 p.m. with the finals to follow.
