ALTOONA – It’s crunch time at the 2017 PIAA AAA Northwest Regional championships. It’s going to be a fight to the finish for a berth at the state tournament in Hershey next week.
Geo Barzona (36-2), Seth Andrus (31-9) and Richie Thompson (31-10) all won their first two matches handily to move into Saturday’s 12:30 p.m. semifinal round.
Logan Long (22-14), Colton Weaver(19-8), Asher Corl (25-13), Tanner Weaver (33-9), Caleb Turner (30-9), Tanner Riggle (18-12), and Mahlik Houtz (24-15), will have a tougher task as they enter the consolation brackets beginning at 10 a.m. this morning.
The record-online will offer live audio stream of the match and will also broadcast audio on WBPZ AM 1230 with John Lipez and Cole Hanley offering up the call to bring you all the action. The stream will go live approximately 15 minutes before each session begins.
