BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain softball will host down river rival, Jersey Shore in a key PHAC contest at 4:30 p.m. today. Both teams have one win in the conference and both squads want to extend that streak.
Jersey Shore, 2-0 overall, has wins over Central Columbia and Midd-West. The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Bluejays 11-1 and the Mustangs 10-0. Meanwhile, the Lady ‘Cats, 2-2, have wins over Hollidaysburg and Midd-West and losses to Mifflin County and Williamsport. In their only common opponent, Central Mountain handed the Mustangs a 15-5 loss back on April 5.
