BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Wildcats continue PHAC action tonight when they will host Midd-West at Central Mountain High School.
The Mustangs are 6-2 on the season with wins over Camp Hill (54-30), Trinity D3 (39-37), Lehighton (57-22), Pine grove (45-27), Tri-Valley (60-24), and Milton (48-28). Midd-West also crowned three champions at the ‘Battle at the Bridge’ in Woodbridge, Va. earlier this season.
Central Mountain has earned a 3-1 dual meet record with wins over Shamokin (63-6), Selinsgrove (68-6) and Jersey Shore (64-11). Their lone loss came at the hands of Bald Eagle Area (39-33). CM also earned the first place team title at the Tom Best/Top Hat tournaments, finished third at the King of the Mountain tourney and finished second at the Conestoga Valley Holiday Wrestling Classic.
The varsity match is slated for 7 p.m. this evening.
