SUNBURY – The Wildcats head to Sunbury this morning as Shikellamy High School hosts what they are calling the Heartland Quad, four league teams doing battle beginning at 10 a.m. The schedule for Central Mountain: 10 a.m. vs. Williamsport (2-0), 11:30 a.m. vs. Shikellamy (0-1) and 1 p.m. vs. Shamokin (0-1). The Wildcats have never lost a dual meet to a Heartland Conference foe but will be challenged by a much improved Williamsport team in their opener. Williamsport hosted Altoona on Friday and downed the Mountain Lions, 39-28 while Central Mountain dispatched Jersey Shore, 54-15.
A junior high school quadrangular meet will be run at the same time with the same foes Saturday.
