BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain will host their final dual meet of the season when they welcome Hollidaysburg to CMHS for a Big 7 Conference tilt set for 7 p.m.
It’s a tale of contrasting teams where the Golden Tigers have struggled this season with a 4-10 mark in dual meet competition, while the Wildcats have built a 12-2 record.
Comparing common opponents, Hollidaysburg picked up wins over Jersey Shore (57-12) and State College (36-34) and came up short against BEA (39-30), Bellefonte (52-21) and Shikellamy (43-27). Central Mountain picked up wins over all those opponents as follows: BEA (58-9), Bellefonte (36-25), Shikellamy (50-17), Jersey Shore (62-12) and State College (45-24).
Even though the Golden Tigers may have struggled in duals competition, their lineup is not without several bright spots, Campbell Walls (152) Mason McCready (182), Agustus Dellinger (220), all have 20+ wins this season.
The Wildcats will also honor senior members of the squad tonight before the match which will include starters: Johnny Shreffler (120), Dalton Bechdel (126), Kayden Busey (132), Cody Coleman (138), Alonzo Henry (152), Austin Confer (170), Tanner Riggle (220) and Jacob Edwards (285).
The record-online will offer live audio stream of the match with John Lipez and Tom Elling offering up the call to bring you all the action. The stream will go live approximately 15 minutes before the match begins.
Keep in mind if the junior high match should be delayed or run long, it will delay the start of the varsity match.
