BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain hosts Shikellamy in a conference matchup touting two of the top programs from District 4 and District 6. With activity coming down to the wire for preparation for their respective District Duals tournaments, both the Wildcats and the Braves have plenty of incentive to do well.
Shik is 6-2 on the season with wins over Milton , Selinsgrove, Williamsport, Bellefonte, Shamokin and State College. The braves losses came at the hands of Jersey Shore and Benton.
Central Mountain is perfect on the season at 6-0 with wins over Mifflin County, BEA, Midd-West, Shamokin, Williamsport and Mifflinburg.
Against common opponents, CM shut-out Shamokin while the Braves won 63-9. Shikellamy edged Williamsport 39-36 where the Wildcats pounded the Millionaires 58-5.
The varsity match is set for 7 p.m. though, if the junior high match runs long the start time may be delayed. We will go live approximately 10 minutes before the match begins.
