SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT – The Keystone Major All-Stars take their next step in their quest for a District 12 title tonight as they meet Williamsport Area at Volunteer Stadium with the first pitch slated for 6 p.m.
Williamsport has been idle after they edged Keystone in Woolrich on Sunday 3-2 while ‘The Boys in Blue’ had to battle back by defeating Montoursville 14-6 on Wednesday.
Tonight’s contest is a must-win opportunity for Keystone and will feature strength against strength with Williamsport’s top shelf pitching and the strong bats of the Keystoners.
The Billtown boys stifled the Keystone hitters in their last meeting and the coaching staff has been working on correcting that issue. Tonight’s contest is sure to be a classic.
A win for Williamsport, the winner’s bracket champion, tonight would give them the D12 title. Keystone needs to win tonight and be victorious in the ‘if’ game tomorrow at 11 a.m. to take the crown.
The record-online will offer live audio stream of the game and will also be broadcast on WBPZ AM 1230 with John Lipez and Tom Elling offering up the call to bring you all the action. The stream will go live approximately 10 minutes before the first pitch.
